This Privacy Policy explains how INOAteam (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our website or contact us. We are responsible for the personal information described here. Our office is at No. 23, 12th Lane, 3rd Cross Street, Puttalam 61300, Sri Lanka.

Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of enquiry, your answers to the topic-specific questions (for example, your company, education level, or travel dates), and your message. We also receive the information you include when you email us or message us through WhatsApp, LINE, LinkedIn, or Facebook.

Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use your IP address briefly to limit spam submissions through the contact form.

Cookies and local storage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores your light or dark theme preference locally on your device. The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads.

We use personal information to:

• respond to your enquiry and communicate with you;
• understand your needs and prepare proposals or guidance;
• provide the services we agree with you;
• keep our website secure and prevent spam and misuse;
• comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making about you.

We process personal information because you have asked us to respond to your enquiry or to take steps before entering into an agreement with you, because it is in our legitimate interest to run and protect our business, or because the law requires it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. We handle personal information in line with Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, and other data protection laws that apply to you.

We share personal information only where needed:

• Service providers who help us run our website and communications, such as our web hosting provider and Google, which delivers and stores our email.
• Educational institutions or employers, only with your agreement, when you ask us to help you explore a specific study or employment opportunity.
• Authorities, where we are required to by law or to protect our legal rights.

We work across borders, and our service providers may store information on servers outside your country, including outside Sri Lanka. When this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information remains protected.

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up, and generally for no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless we have an ongoing relationship with you or the law requires us to keep it longer. We then delete or anonymise it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to enquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your information;
• stop or limit how we use it, or object to its use;
• withdraw consent you have given.

Some of our education services are relevant to students who are under 18. If you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian before sending us your information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without the consent of a parent or guardian.
